Noah's Ark Humane Society has partnered with Appalachian Animal Rescue to provide affordable spay and neuter services for cats and dogs in Western North Carolina. All surgeries are performed on the Snippet Bus, a fully equipped mobile surgical suite that remains parked at the Appalachian Animal Rescue Center in Macon County. Pricing is based on a sliding scale according to income, making these essential services accessible to all pet owners. In addition to spay and neuter, we offer vaccines, microchips, dewormer, and flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. Appointments are available every Tuesday and Thursday, with pets dropped off in the morning and picked up the same afternoon.
